on this week’s episode of it’s always sunny in philadelphia, the gang buys a houseboat, and needless to say it’s in shit shape. as sweet dee, mac, and dennis check out the “decor,” something caught my eye … a corkboard made of used (and hopefully cleaned) wine corks! many homes i’ve been to save their used corks in vases or bowls, but i don’t know that i’ve ever actually seen anyone make something with them, and i thought this was a great idea. plus, it’s a great green idea! (green is universal.)

i googled the concept, and found this basic instructional guide. also, even more great ideas for your saved corks can be found over at wineenthusiast.com. expect to see some wine cork coasters in my apartment soon (and maybe in your next gift bag!)
